The Full Story
Dollz House Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that will help families in the community gain access to assistance and expand their range of outlets of support to meet their needs; and help build stronger, more resilient individuals and communities. Dollz House has been in existence for over 50 years in the Englewood Community.

Dorothy Lomax whose husband Roosevelt Lomax suddenly passed away leaving her a single mother and to care for their 12 children. was affectionately known as" Doll" because of her inner beauty and the love she has for helping people in need. After the passing of her husband, the Englewood police station came by and delivered a patty wagon full of food that would last "Doll" and her children for many months.

Doll was well known for offering her service to help and assist her siblings and others in the community with their children. She supported the Englewood Community by always offering a helping hand, sharing food, or shelter. Doll was also known for her supportive help at the family community church, Lebanon Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor William Clinckscale, where she demonstrates her love and her belief in helping and supporting others in need.

This is why Dollz House has been birth into existence so that we can continue to share and help others in need of various Human Service Programs, to assist with low-income housing, and help families in all communities gain access to assistance to meet their needs.
